The main components of electrophoretic coating line

-Pre treatment equipment: 

including equipment for pre cleaning, oil removal, rust removal, phosphating, water washing and other processes. Pre cleaning to remove large particle impurities and dirt from the surface of the workpiece; Using chemical methods to remove oil stains; Rust removal is often carried out by sandblasting or shot blasting to remove the rust layer; Phosphating is the formation of a fine and uniform phosphating film on the surface of the workpiece after rust removal, which enhances the adhesion of the coating; Water washing is used to remove waste liquids and residues generated during the treatment process.

-Electrophoretic tank: 

It is the core part of electrophoretic coating, which contains a mixture of electrophoretic paint (water-soluble coating) and distilled water inside. Under the action of an electric field, charged coating particles move towards electrodes with opposite charges and deposit on the surface of the workpiece.

-Ultrafiltration system: 

used to control the concentration of impurity ions introduced into the workpiece, ensuring the quality of coating. Ultrafiltration membranes need to operate continuously to prevent dryness from affecting permeability and service life.

-Cleaning and drying system: The cleaning system generally uses ultrafiltration water washing to remove excess electrophoretic paint on the surface of the workpiece. The drying system solidifies the coating through heating, forming a dense and highly adhesive paint film.

-Hanging conveyor chain:

The workflow of electrophoretic coating line

The general electrophoretic coating process for metal surfaces is: pre cleaning → online → degreasing → water washing → rust removal → water washing → neutralization → water washing → phosphating → water washing → passivation → electrophoretic coating → tank cleaning → ultrafiltration water washing → drying → offline.
